HaVoK had found his way to the rooftop...and was looking around for a shrine, or a sybolic building or something. That's when he heard the gunshot.
He figured they'd found Gale...that a fight had broken out...but why only one shot? He eventualy got his bearings and made his way into the bar. He saw Lara holding her weapon at point, and the body, limped across a bar, half a head missing. HaVoK drew his side sword and looked at lara ''This man is unarmed...and you killed him?'' |

Ayn grins. "All too often." She waves a palm in the air, and five icicles shoot from each fingertip, impaling three of the men. They stumble backwards, then slump to the ground, lifeless.
The bartender's eyes widen, and he grabs a phone, apparently calling for backup. |

Lara shrugs. "I felt threatened by the big scary men. Being called a "forign whore" gave me a very bad impression."

Wandering in after the rest of them seeing Lara and shakes his head as he wanders further in. Great. Just what we need. A corpse in the first ten seconds of entering the place. Taking a seat not too far from the rather shoked dead mans friends Bhaal faces to the others. You know that really wasn't very nice. You probably should've aimed a couple of feet lower and got away by calling it poetic justice.

One looks to see what's going on as the thug is sent flying across the room. "Oh ****. You're fighting? Well, I guess I can join." He stands up next to Wessen and waits for any other thugs that might move in on them.

Wessen kicks to his side, knocking another of the thugs back and immediately after elbows the guy to his other side in the gut. This won't take long. |

The dragon and rider touch down, late. Rikali is on the edge of collaspe-the long journey had been too much for her battle-scarred body. Snarling at herself in disgust, she allows Hayate to slip off and sighs, working a kink out of her neck. "Where do you think they all are? There's their hummer."
Riki wanders the town, having decided against joining most of the people in searching bars. She wishes she could find her dragon friend. The people here, as she walked around, glared at her, shoved her on the street, spoke rude things of her. The young girl was becoming frightened. Slipping down a side street, Riki chews on her lip. "Where? Where are these gates?" |

Ayn eyes Havok, an eyebrow arched. "Hm. It seems you're more forgiving than the rest of us.. I'd hardly call someone with sexual intentions without the woman's permission 'innocent'."

One grabs one of the thugs and tosses them on top of the counter, sliding them across it through all the glasses.(I always wanted to do that. :D) He then punches another thug in the stomach, and elbows him in the back of the neck.

You're the great predator. But, considering a gunshot came from over there, I would assume they're in that direction.

Wes grabs a nearby table by its base and slugs one of the guys he's already hit with it, knocking him out. Out of the corner of his eye he sees Thug #1 pulling a gun. Rushing toward him with the table, Wessen gets right in his face right as a shot rings out. The shot goes through the table and into Wessen's side.
SON OF A BITCH!!! Do you have any idea how much bullets hurt?... Wessen drops the table, kicks the gun out of the thug's hand, and draws his own, quick as lightnight, and points it at the thug's face. ..even through a kevlar-laced jacket? Wes grips the thug by the collar and puts his face close to his. I recon you'd better tell your buddies to stand down. I never bring a gun into a bar fight until somebody else does... but when I do, you'd better believe I'm willing to use it. Thug #1: "Then use it, you little bitch. I'm not telling you the location of nothing. And I can assure you this entire town feels the same way I do about visitors. So kill me or don't, I aint sayin ****." Wes lets go of the Thug's collar and turns to One. You wanna try? Looking around, they both realize that there's a hostile air toward them from just about everyone in the bar... probably partly on account of their secrecy, and partly on account of them picking fights. Eh... |

After Lara stands down...HaVoK similarly does. He goes into the back of the bar...looking for someone who looks different than the rest. He exits back outside...and finds something. He sees the crowd of locals, oviously angry at the disturbance the group has caused.
HaVoK runs back into the bar. ''Guys...we should get movin soon...before the whole town comes down on us...'' |

More gunshots echo loudly in the pub, as the previously mentioned "backup" has arrived. Three large thugs, each bearing large guns, stand in the doorway to the pub. Their grins are menancing as they fire at the group.

As people begin to move in on them. . "Will someone please tell us where the shrine is, you PAGANIST BASTARDS!" One pulls out his staff and a bright white light emanates from the orb, blinding everyone in the room. One grabs Wessen and runs out of the bar and hides in a nearby alley. "Okay, we're okay for now. Damn, none of them will tell us though. . ."
"Bulbra's Farm." One looks over at a lady picking food out of a trash can, she looks as old as time itself, her face looks as though it has been carved out of wood, and the job wasn't done very well. She's short and has sligh hump in her back, and her clothes are torn. Her voice, however, is strong and demanding. "Excuse me?" "The shrine. . . you'll find it on Bulbra's Farm" She continues picking food, not once having looked up at them. One looks uneasily at Wessen and shrugs. |

Lara scowls at the site of backup. "Aw ****!" She dives behind a table and takes out her Uzi, a weapon more suited for her situation. "Screw this, we have to haul ass out of here!" Laena dives again and fires at the thugs with her Uzi.
__ Jekin comes up to One and Wessen as he moves through the alley in an attempt to locate the others. "Hurry and get to the hummer, I'll find the others. We have to leave before the whole town tries to attack us. |

As Hayate and Rikali close in on the bar most of the others are at, Hayate notes the large crowd brewing nearby. Evidently, something rather nasty has happened inside the bar.
Holstering the gun and trying to look as official as possible, Hayate walks straight into the crowd, hoping they'll belive he's there to sort it all out. 'Scuse me. 'Scuse ME! Don't you know who I am? Don't worry, it's all under control, just let me get into the bar. As he gets there, three large thugs are facing into the bar, and begin firing. With the faintest of sighs, Hayate re-draws his gun and with the greatest calmness, shoots one in the back of the head, before deciding discretion is the better part of valour. |

Hey, don't look at me. I've gotten information from worse places. He speaks up. Can you tell us where that is, or is that another vast secret? The old woman stops leaning over the dumpster and comes over to Wessen. She inspects him and starts poking his coat. Wessen eyes her warily. Uh no, you can't have my coat. It has sentimental value. She continues to poke him in the same spot for a moment before losing patience with him. She reaches inside of his jacket, exremely quickly for someone with such frail, old fingers, and grabs the parchment with the Megiddo invite on it from his pocket. The name "Rey'Kas" can be seen clearly inscribed on it. The woman pulls a peice of chalk from her raggedy old handbag and begins to draw a map on the parchment that indicates a path leading to the foothills just outside of town. Wessen is a bit embarassed at having misinterpereted her gesture. Gratefully he takes the map from her and notes the knowing look on One's face. Yeah, so I stole Rey'Kas's invitation. I'm sure he has better things to do. Besides, what would you do without me to start pointless bar brawls for you? Anyway, I guess we should head back to the others with this information. As they are leaving, Wes drops a few coins into the old woman's hands. She probably wouldn't realize until later that each one was worth about a thousand platinum. Thanks for the good cheer in this mean ol' town, sweety. |

HaVoK moves up to the others. The silhouette of the town crowd drawing nearer. He sees Wes holding his side...but no blood.
''You need assistance?'' HaVoK asks, just as a bullet passes by his head. He turns around. Everyone Let's get rollin'! |

She waves a hand at Lara. "Nevermind that! We don't have time to play with toys!" She stands, and throws herself at one of the thugs. She places a palm flat on his chest, and in one large burst of fire and heat, the thug is reduced to settling ash. The gun clatters to the ground in a heap of red, twisted metal.

Lara holsters her uzi and holds out her hand. An orb of electricity form and launches itself at another thug. In only a few moments he drops to the floor. Either dead or unconscious. With that out of the way, Lara fishes through the pockets in her vest and pulls out a hand grenade. Spotting a weak point in the wall, she pulls the pin and tosses the grenade toward it. "Fire in the hole!" She immeadiately ducks, as a small opening is blown into the wall. "Exit stage right!"
__ Jekin is about to speak, but then spots Havok. "We need to get back to the car. The others are on their own for now." |

Ayn jumps and and makes a break for the hole, barely managing to avoid a bullet that whizzed past her ear.. She climbs through the hole, then extends her hand to help Lara through.

HaVoK looks at the crowd once more ''Roll up the car...we'll go collect! HaVoK makes his way to the hummer...and looks in the back for a weapon that's not a sword. He finds an M60. He gets on the roof and mounts the gun. |

Lara smiles slightly and accepts Ayn's help to get through the hole. "The hummer isn't far, the others can make it back..."

I'm fine. It's just a bruise. We've got what we came for. As he moves up to the entrance next to Hiyate, he sees the others escaping through the hole in the wall. In order to keep the remaining thugs from pursuing, he decides to help Hiyate draw their attention. Such disreguard for human life.. what a slippery slope. He draws his gun and fires of three shots, each of them sending a bullet clean through the head of three different aggressors. Y'all know where the Hummer is. I suggest we all get there immediate mo. |

Gun in hand Bhaal runs from one end of the bar to the other keeping his head down and using the tables for cover firing the occasional shot in the general direction of the incoming gunfire until he reaches the newly created doorway. Yet another brief but violant encounter. Keeps you on you toes at least. Firing off the last of the magazine Bhaal ducks through the bar leaving with the others.

She frowns slightly, glancing around. Her eyes land on the crowd. "****. It figures we've stirred up a commotion, this town probably doesn't get visitors that often." She straightens and looks around for the Hummer.

A couple of bullets tear through Hayate's coat as he legs it towards the nearest source of shelter; the Hummer.

As they all group toward the safety of the thankfully bullet-proof hummer, Wes is left a bit out in the open as he mounts his Tandem.
Is everyone here yet? I'd very much like to leave all this aggression in the dust. It's not healthy. |

Lara points to the hummer, with Havok at the trunk. "We have to keep the thugs from getting to it AND wait for the others to get her. A barrel of fun, no doubt."
__ Meanwhile, Jekin is heading straight to the hummer, clearing a path with his shotgun. He mercilessly mows through his aggreesors and tries to get the allies he encounters ((those who aren't here right now)) to follow him. "Almost there..." |

Ayn grins. She liked Lara's sense of humor, it was similar to her own. "About as fun as the electric chair." She begins moving towards the Hummer, squeezing her way through the mass of people.

Lara, who's patience was always lacking, had plain run out of it now. She rummaged through her vest again and pulled out a flashbang. "This is taking to long, cover your eyes!" Lara throws the flashbang and blocks her eyes. The grenade erupts in a bright flash of light, blinding most of the mob who we're beginning to crowd around Ayn and her. After a moment she opens her eyes. "Let's go!" With that, she sprints to the hummer and meets her comrades. "Good, most of you guys made it here already."
Suddenly Jekin walks up to the hummer, firing into the angry citizens who are coming ever closer to the group. "Everyone here?" |

Ayn isn't too far behind, and once she reaches the Hummer, she stands in front of it, both palms outstretched and just waiting for anyone to challenge her.

I think there are a few who haven't made it yet. We just have to hold 'em off... though I don't know if firing bullets into the croud is the best way to soothe their anger.

Using his size to barge a lot of the crowd out of the way and his large stride to cover the distance Bhaal comes up to the hummer just as a bliding flash comes from behind him. With a few last shots over his shoulder Bhaal jumps in barging past Hayate to get to a free space.

One finally comes into view of the Hummer. He arrived late because right after he left the alley, some thugs caught him and One was left to deal with them. He makes it up the back of the Hummer with everyone else. "****, what could we have done to piss off the town this much?"
